My name is Anna, I 12 years old. I am a pupil of school. I like to do many things, have many hobbies. Among them are sports, watching TV, playing computer games, dancing. Like many other people of my age, I am fond of modern music. I like to walk in my city, learn new facts about it. My hobbies make my life more interesting.
But the thing, I like most of all, is studying my native land. Of course, I can’t do it each day, as I’m very busy, but I look through the books, where I can go during my vacations. But if you think, I dream about foreign trips, you are wrong. I prefer to travel about my land.
Somebody can say that travelling near his city is not very interesting, but it is not true. I think that everybody must know about the place he lives in. It can be very exciting!
I like to travel with my parents. Sometimes we take my friends with us. My mother knows many interesting facts about our region. She tells us about princely palaces that were built at our place thousand years ago, about battles that took place here. We travel across interesting places, climb the hills, have a very good time.
Of course, it is impossible to learn much about the land only by means of walking across it. I attend historical and native museums, library. I am the member of School Academy of Sciences at that subject and I am to write scientifically works. But it is not difficult for me, as I like this subject so much!
